We are committed to the principles of transparency.   Shaving Israel wants you to know that we use your gifts wisely.  This  why many of the primary documents below are on our site for you to view.

See documents regarding our non profit status and practices.  We are proud of our status and we want you to feel confident that your gift is being used wisely.

It took a long time for us to get our 501(c)3 status.  For instance, though it took 2 ½ years to attain our non profit status, over 100 questions contained in 6 separate letters from the IRS, 8 telephone conversations as well as 2 conference calls.  We commend the IRS on the thorough job they did and assistance they provided.  All aspects of our application were accomplished with volunteer labor.
