Israel’s 75th Birthday

Shaving Israel participated in Israel’s 75th Birthday Celebration at the JCC north parking lot and pavilion on Sunday, April 21. Weather conditions were difficult, but nevertheless Shaving Israel set up a table and distributed our new Tzedakah charity cans (thanks to Rabbi Ze’ev Smason for organizing that project), sold raffle tickets for IDF Caps, encouraged young visitors to write “Thank You” notes to IDF soldiers, and displayed various clothing items that we purchase in Israel from your contributions and distribute to soldiers in need.

In attendance: Board members Linda Koenig and Mimi Fiszel, President Laura Goldmeier, Board member Irl Solomon, and Volunteer Myra Solomon.

The beautiful nylon table cover was specially produced for Shaving Israel by Barry Roufa, President Of FastSigns of Earth City.
